Building a shallow TV Cabinet for you wall

Happy February everyone.  As we post this, were nearing the end of a incredible stretch of warm weather...but rain is expected next week.
We've been keeping busy at the shop as well, but are never to hurried to take your calls and talk to you about your cabinet, kitchen or bath projects.

In this months video were showing you more from our recently completed Lafayette/Martinez hills project for RW Thompson.  In this episode, were spotlighting a unique TV cabinet that we custom built for their living/ dining room wall.  As illustrated in the bizvid, the client wanted something shallow...rather than a standard 12 + inch entertainment center.  This gave them the ability to mount a TV, plus a bunch of frame mounted photos and nick-naks in a very sleek, clean, modern design...without sacrificing utility.   In short...you don't have to make a mantle or TV cabinet as deep as most.  Watch it and see for yourself.
In the spirit of going narrow...We also wanted to show a photo of one of our recent mantle surrounds which will be mounted on the wall over a gas fireplace insert.

Although the mantle top  it is only 5 inch deep, it creates a nice visual impact and gives a homeowner lots of additional space, as mentioned above...for photos, artwork, nick-naks etc.

This is a traditional mission/ victorian style, as illustrated with the vertical grooved legs and the OG fluted top.  I can also build a more contemporary design to match any magazine clipping, idea or spec that you may have.
